For the next 35 years, ETMF enjoyed a phenomenal growth. Major acquisitions included Gordons transport of
Memphis, Lee American Freight of St. Louis in 1967, Valley Copperstate of Los Angeles in 1968, Hemingway of in
1977.

The company now operated 125 terminals in a 19 state area and recorded revenues of $85 million. Employees were
3,000 strong with an average of 12 years service to the company.

ETMF had a three year equipment purchase plan. In 1971 and 1972, a total of $10 million was spent updating road
equipment.
